The project aim is to optimize, extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution what will be deployed in newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.
At our project we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture – key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.
Requirements
Proven experience in system testing with a strong focus on ensuring product quality, performance, and reliability throughout the entire development lifecycle. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support a team of Test Engineers, including guiding test planning, reviewing work, and fostering technical growth. Strong technical background with deep knowledge of testing methodologies and hands-on experience with both functional and low-level testing. Solid proficiency in Python for test automation, scripting, and creating reliable test setups. Practical experience in black-box testing of complex systems and the ability to design and execute comprehensive test strategies. Ability to work effectively with vague or evolving requirements, interpret them, and convert them into actionable test plans. Demonstrated experience working with physical test environments such as Box Cars and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, including configuring and executing tests on these rigs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in both software and hardware test environments.
Prior hands-on experience with embedded systems, including testing firmware, interfaces, and system integrations. Broader automotive domain experience or familiarity with automotive testing standards and tools. Experience with additional scripting or programming languages beyond Python (e.g., C, C++) that support advanced test automation or embedded scenarios. Exposure to advanced test automation frameworks, continuous integration, and deployment environments that enhance test efficiency.
Job responsibilities
Test Strategy and Team Leadership Define and manage testing strategy for software releases in your technical area, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional and technical domains. Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers, fostering a culture of high quality, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Test Execution and Defect Management Execute a variety of tests, including functional, exploratory, regression (diagnostics, communication, etc.). Analyze test results, document a summary report, and identify the root cause of failures, differentiating between product defects and rig/environment issues. Create and manage detailed fault reports for identified product defects. Test Setup Maintenance and HIL/Box Car Operations Take responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of complex test setups, including Box Cars (test benches/rigs) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems. Plan test objects (e.g., vehicles/rigs) for test events by ensuring correct hardware and software baselines are installed and configured. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the testing rig or environment (e.g., invalid HW versions, connections to Box Cars) and implement countermeasures. Test Automation and Development Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage, particularly for repetitive and complex test cases.
