About the role

• As a Senior QA Engineer, you are part of the CLIENT Securities Finance Trading and Collateral core development team. You strengthen the existing cross functional Scrum team, contributing towards the implementation of the future architectural and functional roadmap to meet the CLIENT strategic goals and the market demand. You’ll help design the foundation for how our global platforms perform and scale. Your expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software for our environment that supports vital business processes.

• CLIENT Securities Finance Trading & Collateral is a market leader in delivering technology and services to the global Securities Finance & Collateral industry. The components of CLIENT’ solution suite are designed to support the entire and complete value chain and processes of the Securities Finance and Collateral market. The global business has 200+ clients, both sell side and buy side institutions including Banks, Agent Lenders, Broker/Dealers and Asset Managers.

What you will be doing

• Engage in both manual and automated testing in line with project deliverables within Agile teams.
• Develop automated tests at the integration and UI levels.
• Craft test cases and create test runs and test plans.
• Record defects identified during testing, ensuring all high and urgent priority defects are resolved before project implementation.
• Share your expertise and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Organize and participate in Regression testing.
• Enhance your skillset through close collaboration with teammates and industry specialists from our wider organization.
• Contribute to the continuous modernization of the product stack and software by sharing your ideas and vision.
• Participate in our agile, test-driven development process, planning sessions, and work closely with team members to analyze requirements and provide design recommendations.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline or equivalent education and experience (Finance, Mathematics, or Technical sciences).
• 3+ years of QA experience
• Proficiency in both automation and manual testing.
• Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium WebDriver, and strong programming skills in Java.
• Ability to design and implement automation test scripts based on requirements.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Swagger and Postman.
• Familiarity with test management tools and systems – JIRA, TFS, Rally, Confluence, and TestRail.
