About Us
We're emater — the parent company behind four DTC brands creating global impact. We handle everything in-house from A to Z: operations, marketing, product development, and customer experience.
Based in Miami with offices in Armenia and Israel, and a team spanning the globe, we're redefining what's possible in e-commerce.
How we do it: we combine AI, creativity, and deep customer understanding to deliver results that matter.
Our culture: We invest in our people as much as our brands. Every team member has real opportunities to grow, innovate, and make an impact.
We are looking for a hands-on Business Systems & Automation Engineer to act as the architect of our internal efficiency. In this role, you will not just manage software; you will build the "connective tissue" of the company using Python, APIs, no-code tools and cutting-edge AI agents.
IT Operations (keeping our stack secure, organized, and cost-effective)
Automation Engineering (building multi-agent workflows that increase productivity and robotic processes). You are the person who ensures that if a process can be automated, it is automated.
Key Responsibilities
Develop AI Agents: Design and code autonomous agents (using Python, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain, n8n) to handle complex workflows in Customer Support, HR, Operations, Finance.
API Orchestration: Connect our existing SaaS toolkit (e.g., Shopify, inventory software, Freshdesk, etc) so that an event in one system triggers an action in another without human intervention.
Workflow Optimization: Audit manual processes across departments, identify bottlenecks, and engineer scripts and integrations for low-code solutions (Make/Zapier/n8n) to eliminate them.
Bot Maintenance: Monitor and refine the performance of active AI agents to ensure high accuracy and low hallucination rates as well as optimized spendings.
User Provisioning: Own the onboarding and offboarding lifecycle. Ensure new hires have immediate access to the right tools and that access is instantly revoked upon departure.
Security Administration: Manage permissions and roles within our software ecosystem to ensure "Least Privilege" access. Audit admin consoles regularly for security gaps.
Internal Support: Serve as the Tier-2 technical escalation point for complex system issues that other staff members cannot resolve.
License Optimization: Proactively monitor software usage. Identify "zombie" licenses (paid for but unused) and re-provision or cancel them to reduce bloat.
Vendor Relations: Act as the technical point of contact for software vendors. Assist the manager in renewal negotiations by providing precise usage data.
Tech Stack Documentation: Create and maintain a central repository of technical documentation, SOPs, and system architecture diagrams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Scripting & Coding: Strong proficiency in scripting & automation is a must.
AI/LLM Experience: Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude) and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen).
SaaS Administration: Experience managing admin consoles for Google Workspace and Project Management tools. Any extensive experience in SaaS administration is a plus.
Integration Savvy: Deep understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, Webhooks, and JSON.
Operational Mindset: You are organized, security-conscious, and enjoy turning chaos into order.
