Stack/tools: development and validation of test equipment and tools; design of test modules, test boards, vision tests; test program development and change management; installation/validation of test equipment; backup and version control of test parameters; MS Office

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Create, review and update test technology local work instructions; develop test sequences and programs for test tables, boards and vision systems

  • Install, validate and modify test equipment and test programs during product changes/new introductions (change/project management); perform root-cause analyses for process disturbances

  • Provide feedback to Production Technology on module functionality/design; implement lessons learned and share best practices within the Production Management network

Must-have skills

  • University degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar)

  • 2+ years in the automotive industry (preferred)

  • Experience with test equipment/tools development, test program creation, and basic maintenance/repair

  • Ability to conduct root-cause analysis, change management, and documentation; proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with vision systems and board-level test hardware

  • Creates and reviews test technology local work instructions

  • Supports: - test equipment and test tools development (design, test modules, specific processes, etc.) - technical error analyses for customer claims and complaints - the identification of root causes in case of process disturbances and searching for solutions

  • Creates and develops the test sequences and programs according to requirements - for building of test tables, test boards and vision tests, internally or externally - for installation and validation of test equipment - in order to change the test programs, test tables, test boards and vision systems during product changes and new introduction (Change Management & Project Management)

  • Ensures test programs and tests parameters used during initial setup

  • Provides feedback to Production Technology related to test modules functionality and design

  • Ensures backup of test programs and test parameters

  • Implements lessons learned, best practice and actively shares the information within the Production Management network

  • Qualifications

Level of Education: University Degree

Branch of study: Electrical - Mechanical - Mechatronics or similar

Experience: 2 years in the automotive industry are appreciated

IT: Microsoft Office
