Missions Main Missions
Contributes to the Support Optimap / Optipro project development Supports operations in case of major technical incidence and capitalization of lessons learnt/optimizations of processes Ensures consistent contribution (participating and sharing / transferring knowledge) within industrial networks BG standard owner for Automation Leads métier projects on his scope Leads Industrial Excellence innovation roadmap on his scope, delivered breakthrough solution using/managing métier project Ensures consistent report to top management & operations using steering instance

Optipro or Optimap or Optinov work packages fulfilled HSE (100% conformity) Build & Monitor Project charter Manage assigned budget Defines & Monitors Validation plan Manages and perform risk analysis (FMEAs + technical reviews) Ownership on Automation standard at BG level
Activities Project Management
Define and lead the activities needed to achieve the deliverables Determine the project provisional budget (hours and cost) Elaborate and transfers the technical data to the development, industrial and/or plant teams, with a clear identification of the remaining risks to ensure successful transfer Handle some activities of the extended team depending on the project size
Metier activities
Seek for breakthrough initiative on Robotic, PLC and Vision field: Identify new technologies and functions, analyze market and technology trends, benchmark serial products and technologies Contribute to robotic network activities linked to central roadmap Lead technical standards definitions Industrialize innovative solutions
Assistance to operations
Support operations in case of major or new issue on processes/equipment on Vision, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)/ HMI (Human Machine Interface program) Robotic equipment, including
Automation audit on equipment/cell Supplier tracking Program adjustments during tuning phase/retrofit/re-use Participate in operations productivity workshops
Customer/Industrial projects activities
Validate technical feasibility of Vision PLC & Robotics solutions Support the definition of equipment specifications & supplier sourcing Perform inhouse programming tasks on PLC HMI Robots and OT/IT devices
Knowledge sharing activities
Consolidate lessons learnt from the projects into metier best practices and standards Animate in metier networks Promote externally (OEM, external institutes, academics…) and internally industrial excellence innovation roadmap Train new AUTOMATION, ROBOTIC, PPA, MPM, EPM… to industrialized innovative solutions
Competences requirements Knowledge / Qualifications
Bachelor if significant experienced in the field or a Engineering Master’s degree in Automation and Robotics plus experience Advanced experience in robotics and automation Previous experience in an international context preferred
Previous Experience (if relevant)
Previous experience in the automotive sector is an added advantage
Key technical competencies
5+ years of experience as Robotic or PLC specialist Knowledge of SIEMENS PLC and FANUC ROBOT Project management skills Fluent English required
