Role & seniority: Firmware Verification Domain Lead (senior/lead role) with 5–7 years of proven experience; requires university degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
Stack/tools: C/C++, Python (automation preferred), Git, CI systems; debugging/log-trace tools; scripting for test automation; pre-silicon environments (simulators, FPGAs, emulation); embedded firmware development.
Lead, design, develop and implement firmware validation solutions aligned with industry security standards.
Demonstrate AGILE software engineering practices; design reviews and architectural discussions; contribute to firmware enhancements and pre-silicon validation frameworks.
Triage, debugging, root-cause analysis and resolution of issues in pre-silicon and post-silicon verification; collaborate across firmware, software, silicon and security teams.
Experience designing/automating test cases for functionality, performance and security of firmware features.
Proficiency in scripting for test automation and log analysis; strong C/C++ knowledge; Python or similar for automation; Git and CI; debugging/trace tools.
Ability to independently drive complex validation tasks and work with cross-functional teams; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with pre-silicon validation on FPGAs/simulation; ASIC bring-up.

THE PERSON As the Firmware Verification Domain Lead, you will be responsible for enhancing and expanding test coverage for security firmware features across a range of hardware platforms. This includes designing, implementing, and automating test cases that validate the functionality, performance, and security aspects of low-level firmware components. You will work closely with firmware developers, validation teams, and cross-functional hardware/software stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle—including pre-silicon environments such as simulators, FPGAs, and emulation platforms.
