Role & seniority: Senior QA Engineer with hands-on automation experience
Stack/tools: Agile methodology; JMeter; Selenium; automation QA; manual/functional/non-functional testing; Web UI, API, and Backend testing; Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
Drive an automation-first QA culture and align with DGL test strategy and standards
Plan, execute, and document manual and automated tests; perform regression testing; manage test activities to meet goals
Conduct hands-on testing across Web UI/API/Backend; analyze errors via logs/DB/unix; raise and track issues; support UAT and cross-team troubleshooting
Must-have skills: Agile; JMeter; Selenium; Automation QA
Nice-to-haves: Experience with BDD (specification by example); experience in data governance/regulatory reporting environments; collaboration with BAs/PMs; API and backend testing beyond UI
Location & work type: Hybrid work arrangement; 3 days per week in the office
Context: Migration of functionalities/data from current system (GDD) to Collibra; ongoing platform customization and development
Note: The role supports a Data Governance Platform project with regulatory reporting needs; includes collaboration with Scrum teams and potential cross-project mobility.
Enable & drive a culture of "automation-first" in the QA space
Comply with DGL test strategy, testing standards, templates and test plan
Create execute and document tests (Manual, automation, functional and non-functional test etc.) necessary to ensure the applications and technical environments meet the requirements.
Plan organize and control all test activities to meet defined test goals and implementing the testing.
Detailed hands-on automated & manual testing of new functionality & regression testing of existing functionality on Web UI, API and Backend side
Comprehensive analysis of any errors found using logs, database queries, unix file system, etc.
Raising and tracking issues
Automate Business acceptance criteria through Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using specification by example
Collaborate with BAs, PMs and developers to troubleshooting issues
Assist key business end-users in user acceptance testing
Assist other QA members in testing when required
Mode of work: hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
