We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with strong Python expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable automating both API and UI testing, primarily focused on API validations with end-to-end coverage through UI and API testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs and web applications.
Develop and maintain test scripts using Python-based frameworks.
Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Leverage Git and CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into deployment workflows.
Document test results and raise defects using tools like JIRA and Quality Centre.
Perform basic SQL queries to validate backend data as part of testing.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong Python skills with hands-on automation experience.
Experience in API testing using Pytest and requests module.
Experience in UI testing with Playwright or Selenium.
Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL.
Experience with test management tools: JIRA, Quality Centre
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
Desirable / Plus Points
Prior experience in the healthcare or insurance domain, especially medical aid systems.
Knowledge of modules such as member administration, claims, tariffs, benefits, and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with Django or Robot Framework.
