The ideal candidate thrives in an Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environment, writing code, troubleshooting applications, and driving automation excellence. The QA Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product owners, support, and customer success to identify critical issues, implement fixes, and foster continuous improvement through automation. This role champions a test automation mindset and contributes to a culture of quality and continuous delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tooling across applications.
Write code and troubleshoot both front-end and back-end issues.
Promote automation best practices and continuous delivery within the team.
Collaborate with Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to identify and prioritize high-impact defects.
Perform risk analysis and implement controls to ensure quality and compliance.
Report on testing metrics, results, and trends.
Support Agile and DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
B. Com / B.Sc. in IT, or equivalent qualification.
ISEB / ISTQB Certification preferred.
Proficient in .NET, C#, or Java.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, API Testing, K6, BDD.
Knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect management tools (e.g., Azure Test Plans).
Familiarity with risk analysis, change management, and test design techniques.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles.
SQL knowledge for data validation and testing.
Demonstrated ability to maintain quality and risk controls across projects.
