Job Description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation tooling and system integration. This role is focused on the development, testing, and implementation of automation solutions in a newly established environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a Solution Architect to drive the integration and automation of complex systems using modern DevOps practices.

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Salzburg, Austria

Your Responsibilities

▪ Design, develop, test, and implement automation workflows and integration solutions

▪ Collaborate with the Automation Solution Architect to ensure alignment with architectural standards

▪ Work with REST APIs to integrate cloud services, third-party applications, and legacy systems

▪ Apply Ansible to orchestrate and automate infrastructure and deployment tasks

▪ Leverage containerization technologies for scalable and maintainable deployments

▪ Travel to Salzburg, Austria, may be required for specific project needs

Our Requirements

▪ 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and automation

▪ Strong expertise with Ansible, including workflow design, visualization, and enhanced coding practices

▪ Solid understanding of REST APIs and system integration

▪ Python scripting experience

▪ Proven experience with DevOps principles and tools

▪ Experience with container-based environments (e.g., Docker, Podman, etc.)
