Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our product.

The ideal candidate will understand end-to-end user flows, independently test assigned tickets, and take full ownership of quality from development completion through release.

This role requires hands-on manual testing experience, basic programming knowledge, and a strong willingness to contribute to test automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and end-to-end user workflows

• Take complete ownership of testing for assigned tickets and features

• Independently test “Dev Complete” tickets before release

• Validate functionality against defined acceptance criteria

• Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence

• Re-test fixes and ensure issues are resolved before closure

• Maintain and update test cases, checklists, and regression suites

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes

Required Experience

• 2+ years of professional QA experience

• Strong experience in manual testing of web applications

• Experience working in Agile / sprint-based development environments

• Hands-on experience with defect and task tracking tools

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

• Ability to analyse requirements and user journeys holistically

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (JavaScript or Python)

• Awareness of code changes and pull requests at a high level

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take accountability for assigned work

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)

• Basic API testing experience (Postman)
