Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for

Designing and automating test suites to ensure reliability of the system z(s390x) platform technology Having a client-first mindset to test at scale and imitate customer-like environments Creating strategies and scripts to test new features and functionalities Contributing and reviewing code for internal and external repositories Documenting processes (Test plans) and procedures for clarity and reproducibility Interacting with counterparts in US/Germany teams and Red Hat / Suse

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Required Technical and Professional Expertise with relevant experience of 2-10 years

Comfortable working with any of the three major Linux distros (Redhat, Sles, Ubuntu). Preferably on a Z system (s390x) Knowledge on Kernel Virtual machine (KVM) and Redhat Openshift and add ons. Understanding of virtualization and containerization concepts. z/VM and KVM are preferred. Experience building pipelines for automation servers such as Jenkins etc Skilled in a scripting language. Python, Ansible or shell is preferred. Quick learner and a strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills Self Driven and Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment. Good decision making skills

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Advanced Programming Skills: Experience working with multiple programming languages to create complex test scripts for automating product testing. Knowledge of various programming paradigms and their application in test automation. Ability to optimize test scripts for performance and reliability.
