About the role
As an Junior QA Automation Engineer, you will be integral part of this transformation and will be solving challenging business problems and test with high quality for available applications that provide excellent user experience.
Reporting into the QA Lead you will be required to participate, effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver Understand product requirements and convert them into automated test cases
Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing
Work closely with the teammates and development team to identify test scenarios
Debug and resolve automation script issues
Maintain reusable automation frameworks
Prepare and maintain test reports and defect documentation
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint activities (JIRA / Agile methodology preferred)
Continuously improve test coverage and execution speed
We are looking for someone who can design, document, and implement test case/scenarios, as well as validate enhancements and modifications to existing software.
Have 2-3 years of experience with hands on experience writing Test Cases, Test Scenarios Experience in Agile methodologies.
API - driven development - Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON and in delivering high value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using preferably JIRA tool.
Good Problem solving and logical skills and having good communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Testing Concepts, Defect Management, Testing Processes & Testing life cycle.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Good to have knowledge about product testing and Test Management Tools.
Experience in CI tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.
Ability to automate written test cases / scenarios.
