Description
With proactive and collaborative communication skills and good interpersonal consultative skills, this role will require strong collaboration across the adm-indicia organization as well a range of different client functions/levels.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with development and business teams, manage QA tasks to given timelines, highlight project risks, produce key QA deliverables and provide relevant updates related to project health and delivery. Additionally, the right candidate should be able to help teams with creation of clear test coverage and delivery of test services, as well as support defect management, release sign off and relevant approvals.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in the Bristol office 2 -3 days per week.
Responsibilities Support the creation, improvement and maintenance of test assets, including regression suites across products and regions. Develop test strategies and plans based on project requirements, identifying early defects and ensuring testability. Write and execute manual and automated tests, documenting results clearly for knowledge transfer. Log defects with strong technical and functional insight to support quick resolution. Create and maintain database test automation scripts where required. Work closely with QA Leads, QA Manager and development teams to uphold consistent testing standards and processes. Conduct technical systems testing and support additional testing types (performance, security, device, usability). Build subject‑matter expertise in relevant applications and use this knowledge to strengthen QA quality. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA tools, processes and innovation (including adoption of AI). Monitor testing progress, report status, and take ownership of quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Skills and Experience Extensive experience in QA and testing across large‑scale, cross‑functional technology projects. Strong understanding of QA theory, methodologies and ISTQB/ISO standards. Solid SQL skills and confident in data analysis. Hands‑on experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Proficient using Azure DevOps and/or Jira for test planning, user stories and defect management. Good understanding of non‑functional testing (performance, security, usability) and related tools. Practical experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Rest Assured or similar. Experience using AI tools to support QA planning or test optimisation. Fluent written and spoken English; able to present and communicate clearly at all levels. High proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Teams) plus experience working with third‑party suppliers.
