Location: 127 Public Square, Cleveland Ohio Position Summary The Capital Management group is seeking an intellectually curious and driven individual as a Lead Treasury Analyst to support various strategic and analytical objectives of the team. The Capital Management group within Corporate Treasury department is responsible for assessing the bank's capital adequacy, optimizing capital levels, and strategically managing capital consistent with desired target levels. The team is undergoing exciting enhancements to its analytical capabilities that support the capital planning and stress testing processes. The Lead Treasury Analyst will design and develop analytical tools, increase agility and automate stress testing processes, and contribute analysis supporting prudent capital management strategies while ensuring we meet risk management objectives and regulatory requirements. Core Responsibilities Capital Adequacy & Stress Testing Support the cross-functional execution of Capital Adequacy and Stress Testing Assessments, including scenario generation, results aggregation, and delivery of Key’s capital plan. Analyze stress testing results for insights on vulnerabilities to Key, impacts of critical risks, evolution of earnings, capital generation, and dynamics of material financial and structural risks. Develop presentation materials for capital adequacy and stress testing activities, providing timely updates to senior management, Capital Committee, Board of Directors, and regulators. Create data structure and results repositories to enable analysis on capital position and resilience. Identify opportunities for improvement, support automation, and increase agility within stress testing. Maintain documentation, policies and procedures, standards, and controls to meet standards of Risk Management, internal audit, and regulators. Capital Management Analyze current and forecasted capital positions to generate capital recommendations for senior management to support strategic objectives. Prepare analysis for management that provides insights on Key's capital position and trends in relation to targets and peers. Support optimization of the bank’s capital structure, development of balance sheet strategy, and capital allocation across business lines and investment opportunities. Design and develop tools that enhance capital management rigor, intelligence, and processes. Understand regulatory rules and guidance and assist with interpretation, implementation, general maintenance, and remediation to ensure compliance. Work closely with Risk Management, internal audit, and regulators to provide information that facilitates their oversight of Key's process and capital position. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s or MBA preferred) Two years of experience in Finance or Risk Management at a financial institution Experience in financial planning or stress testing is preferred Skills and Competencies Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn and contribute to Key’s strategic objectives Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills supplemented with data proficiency Proactive, independent, and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms and present data in a logical, concise manner Operates efficiently in a team environment and develops diverse collaborative relationships Excellent organizational skills, strong process mapping and management skills with control mindset High professional standards for stakeholder engagement, confidentiality, and quality of work COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000.00 - $96,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
