Role & seniority: Experienced Automation Tester
Location & work type: Canberra, onsite; Contract (March 2026 – June 2027) with potential 12-month extension; NV1 clearance required
Stack/tools: .NET Framework; Azure DevOps; Automation framework; API testing; CI/CD pipeline support; test documentation and dashboards
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites, playbooks, and API test scripts
Conduct BAU, functional, integration, and regression testing; prepare test plans/strategies and Test Summary Reports
Build dashboards, support issue triage/resolution, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements
Proven end-to-end testing lifecycle experience
Strong .NET Framework and Azure DevOps proficiency
Experience in a team of Automation Specialists; ability to manage shifting priorities across multiple dev teams

Are you an experienced Automation Tester looking to join a high‑performing test and analysis team within a major federal environment? This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to business‑critical systems, working across automated testing, API testing, and Agile delivery practices.
You will support ongoing sustainment and BAU testing across a suite of enterprise applications. Working within an established automation framework, you'll design, develop, and execute automated test scripts aligned to business objectives and technical requirements. The role also involves preparing test documentation, executing functional and regression testing, and reporting on outcomes to support ongoing system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites, playbooks, and API test scripts Conduct BAU, functional, integration, and regression testing Prepare test plans, test strategies, and Test Summary Reports Work collaboratively with Agile delivery teams to estimate effort and prepare test coverage Identify, track, and retest defects, supporting issue triage and resolution Build dashboards to report automated test outcomes Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and improvement Engage with internal stakeholders and vendors as required
Essential Skills & Experience
