In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients the around world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Test Engineer / Test Manager at IBM, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role, you will be responsible for

Defining and executing a robust test automation strategy. Developing and maintaining test scripts for REST APIs and cloud-based platforms. Conducting performance, load, and security testing. Collaborating with development teams to ensure test coverage and quality. Coordinating testing activities across different stakeholders, providing transparency about test execution and driving defect resolution.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Extensive experience in test automation frameworks and strategy / concept. Excellent knowledge on Test Automation tools, scripting, programming. Hands-on experience in REST API testing and SQL. Working knowledge of load and security testing tools. Experience in working in agile environments (Scrum/SAFe). Fluent in German and English (written & spoken). Swiss or EU nationality, or valid Swiss work permit.
