Survalent is seeking a dynamic, adaptable, and driven Quality Control coop student/intern for an exciting 8- or 12-months work term this May 2026. In this role, you’ll help support the development, enhancement, and release of features within Survalent’s Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). Verify and validate product and project requirements
Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and test cases
Prepare and manage the test environment
Execute functional, performance, and integration test cases
Develop and maintain test automation scripts and packages
Report defects, and follow up on resolutions
Support customer and sales teams with technical consultancy
Collaborate with Product Development Teams to build the most reliable solutions
And other duties as required.
Must be enrolled in a university program specializing in a software development, engineering, or related field
Experience in the software development lifecycle, software testing, and system integration
Familiar with waterfall, iterative and agile methodology
Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, effective verbal, and written communication skills
Must be self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic
Good teamwork skills
Computer programming and object-oriented design concepts is an asset
Familiarity with ADMS, SCADA, OMS, DMS, TCP/IP, FTP, SOA/XML, Modbus, DNP3, SNMP, is an asset
