Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared QA Automation Engineer, you should be curious to learn and apply new and complex testing technologies, have a drive to contribute new ideas for future automation strategy, and be passionate about writing reliable, efficient, and maintainable test code. You will be expected to build and improve the quality of our software by working with a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and other Engineers to translate functional requirements into comprehensive test plans and robust, scalable, and supportable automated test solutions. You will participate in the full development lifecycle, championing quality and actively troubleshooting issues to support applications in production-critical environments.
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs test automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with developers and hardware engineers during the planning, design, and development process to build testability into products from the start.
Determines quality assurance needs by analyzing system capabilities and functional requirements to resolve problems in program intent, identify defects, and define testing techniques; prepares operating instructions for test environments and frameworks
Executes automated tests using GitLab CI Pipelines, analyzes results, and reports defects to ensure software meets requirements.
Documents test plans, test cases, and testing procedures for new and revised software features.
Required Skills & Experience
2 years experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in test automation, with a strong preference for candidates having 1+ years of experience with Playwright. • Experience testing modern web-based applications and APIs.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Understanding of the software development and testing lifecycles (SDLC, STLC) • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated, detail-oriented approach to tasks.
Proficient software debugging and root cause analysis skills

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
