Role Overview: We are looking for a Automation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to contribute to the qualification of features for a SaaS product hosted on AWS—Cove Data Protection, the flagship offering from N-able in the cybersecurity domain. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (QE) with 1–3 years of experience in test automation using Python, along with a strong foundation in manual testing and API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing test plans and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• · Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python
• · Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications
• · Perform thorough API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
• · Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies
• · Identify, report, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• · Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• · Participate in regular Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Must-Have Skills

· 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing · Strong experience in writing automated test scripts in Python · Proficient in API testing using Postman or Swagger · Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC · Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) · Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira) · Good analytical and troubleshooting skills · Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Good-to-Have Skills
