Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with expertise in both manual and automation testing for SaaS web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands on experience with manual testing, automation testing using Python and API testing. You will play a key role in driving quality across the product development cycle and delivering high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining high quality deliverables for the SaaS product hosted on AWS—Cove Data Protection, the flagship offering from N-able in the cybersecurity domain. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• ● Design and develop Test strategy, Test scenarios, test cases for UI testing, API testing and backend testing.
• ● Conduct test execution for all major and minor release and ensure functional and regression testing is done for new features, enhancements and bug fixes.
• ● Identify quality issues during test execution, debug possible reason of failure and report bugs in Jira for the fix.
• ● Troubleshoot issues using application service logs.
• ● Design and implement automation test scripts for web and backend applications.
• ● Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger etc.
• ● Develop and execute test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• ● Automate testing for microservices and ensure scalability and platform integration.
• ● Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improvements.
• ● Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for testing and deployment.
• ● Use Linux and bash scripting for test execution.
• ● Maintain test environments in AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS) for manual and automation testing.
• ● Contribute to testing best practices within an Agile environment.
