Business Area: Enterprise Technology – Product Engineering
At Cox Automotive Europe, we’re transforming how our customers buy, sell, and manage vehicles. Our Product Engineering team builds and maintains the technology that powers Manheim Auctions — a platform trusted across the UK to process hundreds of vehicle transactions every day.
We’re now looking for a Senior Test Engineer who doesn’t just “do testing,” but takes full ownership of Quality — someone who thrives on making things better, driving QA excellence, and proactively shaping how testing is done across our products and teams.
If you’re passionate about automation, obsessed with performance, and energised by the opportunity to lead quality forward, this is your role.
What You’ll Do
Own and drive the QA process end‑to‑end, setting the bar for quality across multiple systems. Develop ambitious test strategies that ensure full coverage, reliability, and performance. Lead the design and execution of high‑quality automated tests using modern tools and frameworks. Champion continuous improvement — identifying opportunities to optimise, automate, and evolve how we test. Partner closely with developers, product managers, and engineering leaders to influence decision‑making early and often. Guide and mentor junior engineers, helping raise the capability and quality mindset of the entire team. Bring a proactive, problem‑solving approach to defects, performance bottlenecks, and risk.
You won’t just be part of the QA process — you’ll be the person who drives it forward.
