Job Description THE OPPORTUNITY The Intern – Embedded Software, System, and Test Engineer will report to the Senior Engineering Director heading our Irvine Engineering team. The successful individual in this role will learn and assist with embedded software development, debugging, and testing for our advanced MIMO MANET radios for different applications. This internship is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ Irvine office in the heart of Irvine near the vibrant Irvine Spectrum. The following is a list of at least some of the current essential functions of this internship opportunity. ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Embedded firmware development, implementation, testing, and debugging for Silvus StreamCaster radios. Development of firmware testing environments and scripts. Opportunities to further engage, learn, and develop skills as projects progress. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS In-progress Bachelor's degree or preferably in-progress graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical fields.
