Quality Engineering – Senior Automation Engineer The opportunity As a Automation Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable test frameworks, automate test cases, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes. This role demands hands-on experience with modern automation tools and programming languages, and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities Skills and attributes for success
Framework architecture development and enhancement Building framework components and libraries Strong experience in automating web application testing using Playwright and Katalon API testing expertise using modern tools and frameworks Exposure to mobile application testing, accessibility, and performance testing Designing and implementing test automation strategies Creating automation test plans and securing approvals Managing test automation resources and execution Estimating automation efforts and managing defect tracking using Jira Using Git and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD integration Collaborating with development teams to resolve issues Leading and mentoring team members across geographies Providing automation training and sharing best practices
To qualify for the role, you must have
BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in automation testing Hands-on experience with Playwright, Katalon, Git, Jira, and GitHub Actions Proficiency in Typescript, JavaScript, Java, and Python
Ideally, you’ll also have
