Work Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid) Experience - 2-4 years About the Role We are seeking a motivated and skilled Medior Automation Engineer with hands‑on experience in Cypress and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automation best practices, solid communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment. This hybrid role is based in Bengaluru. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts using Cypress with TypeScript. Participate in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks. Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. Execute automated and occasional manual test cases to ensure high-quality product releases. Debug issues, analyze root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve defects. Maintain documentation including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports. Support continuous integration and continuous testing through pipeline automation. Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices across the team. Qualifications 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing. Strong proficiency with Cypress and TypeScript. Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or built-in Cypress capabilities. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) is a plus. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate testing concepts clearly.
