Role & seniority: Quality Engineer (QE) / Software Engineer in Test; individual contributor with seniority implied by core ownership of quality practices.
Stack/tools: hands-on in unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing; understands test pyramid; familiarity with CI/CD, test data management and test environments (Nice-to-Haves).
Champion quality processes across the SDLC and influence design/development practices for quality.
Build, maintain, and improve automated test suites to enable rapid confidence in software releases.
Upskill and influence the team on delivering performant, high-quality software; communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven QE or Software Engineer in Test experience collaborating with development teams.
Hands-on in unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
Ability to write, review, and improve tests; strong understanding of the test pyramid; identify/mitigate quality risk in complex systems.
Clear, confident communication with stakeholders.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
Knowledge of test data management and test environments.
Experience reducing flaky tests and improving pipeline reliability.
