Support software testing of the GUI for a Windows-based analog circuit simulator
Enhance and maintain the existing simulator testing framework

Enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
Proficiency with Python and Git on Windows
Some experience with software engineering, circuit simulation, and testing frameworks
English fluency; team-oriented with good organizational skills
Experience with Bitbucket and Jenkins
German language skills
Familiarity with Squish or GUI test automation concepts
Part-time student employee (up to 20 hours/week during lecture period)

Key responsibilities in your new role
Software Testing: Support our Software Engineering team in testing the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of a Windows-based Analog Circuit Simulator
Simulator Framework: Engage with enhancing and maintaining the existing simulator testing framework
Documentation support: Collaborate closely with the development team, while documenting your experiences and findings
Test Writing: Gain first-hand knowledge and professional experience with writing tests in a Squish Environment, which is a GUI Test Automation Tool
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
Education: Enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Software Skills: Proficiency with Python and GIT under Windows OS. Bitbucket and Jenkins understanding is a plus
Previous Experience: Gained some experience with Software engineering, Circuit Simulation and Testing Frameworks
Way of Working: Affinity for organization, while working well within a team environment
Languages: Fluency in English. German is a plus
Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
