Summary
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality in close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products. This role requires strong ownership to define, implement, and champion quality practices that ensure high-impact delivery.
Responsibilities
Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions for business areas and implement and execute comprehensive software quality assurance strategies. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts. Develop, maintain, and execute manual test scripts. Assist in building a CI/CD pipeline to execute test scripts on a schedule. Work across teams to validate end-to-end flows. Document, track, and resolve software defects or issues in collaboration with the Product Delivery Team. Ensure quality is built into the software solution throughout the software development lifecycle by performing peer reviews and leveraging relevant quality assurance processes and technologies. Develop and communicate software quality metrics that report the reliability, compliance/accessibility, performance, and security of the software products and services developed. Work closely with the delivery partner to clarify and align software quality assurance services with the product delivery approach and schedule.
Requirements
Experience working as a Sr. Quality Engineer for at least 5 years, with 10+ years of experience overall. Hands-on experience with test automation tools including Cypress and Selenium. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools including JMeter. Hands-on experience with JavaScript/Typescript and Java. Experience working with Cloud providers including AWS. Experience in UI and API automation in Web applications. Broad and in-depth understanding and experience in successfully applying quality assurance and testing disciplines.
Preferred
Testing skills and experience with Agile, Cloud-based delivery in close alignment with an application development team. Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Experienced in providing manual and automated testing services to ensure the quality of strategic and high-priority applications. Solid understanding of test automation best practices; ability to architect, develop, and debug medium to complex automation scripts. Solid understanding of the software development process and major technology terms. Knowledge of Salesforce.
