About the role We're hiring a Junior QA Tester (Manual + Automation) to join our team. This is an entry-level role — 0–3 years of professional QA experience is expected.
You'll spend most of your time doing hands-on manual testing of our web application, writing clear bug reports, and working closely with Product and Engineering. Over time, you'll be introduced to our Playwright automation setup and begin contributing to automated end-to-end tests as you ramp up. If you've touched Playwright in a class, bootcamp, or personal project, that's a real plus.
We'll invest in your growth. You don't need to check every box below — we're looking for someone early in their QA career who's curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
What you'll do Run manual tests on new features and bug fixes using test cases and checklists Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and unexpected behaviors Write clear, detailed bug reports (steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, severity, screenshots/video) Verify bug fixes and support smoke testing before releases Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, regression checklists, QA notes)
Use a test management tool (preferred: QMetry) to organize test cases, execute test cycles, and report results Collaborate with engineers and Product Owners to clarify expected behavior and acceptance criteria Get introduced to our Playwright setup and begin contributing to automated end-to-end tests as you grow into the role Help convert stable manual test cases into automation as features mature

Preferred Any hands-on QA experience, whether professional, academic, or through a bootcamp Exposure to Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for end-to-end testing — coursework, personal projects, or bootcamp experience counts Experience with QMetry or any test case management tool Familiarity with an issue tracker (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, etc.) Basic understanding of browser dev tools (console, network tab) Basic API testing experience (Postman is a plus)
