About the role Credo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Silicon Validation Engineering Intern to join our Internal R&D team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced validation, design, and applications engineers to test and debug next-generation SERDES (Serializer/Deserializer) technology. You will contribute to post-silicon validation, lab testing, data analysis, and automation efforts to ensure the quality and performance of our chips meet design specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience with hardware bring-up and python scripting as well as the ability to provide meaningful insight with the data they have taken. More importantly, we are looking for a team player who is eager to learn and easy to communicate with.
Hourly Pay is $22.
Summer Internship will start May/June.

Responsibilities Assist in creating and executing test plans for functional, electrical, and performance validation of our wide range of SERDES IP and Products. Set up and run tests in lab environments using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, pattern generators, and other equipment. Debug hardware and software issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Automate test procedures and data collection using Python or similar scripting languages. Analyze test data and generate clear, concise validation reports. Participate in design reviews, weekly status updates, and engineering syncs as part of the validation lifecycle.
Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Solid understanding of digital logic, SoC architecture, computer systems, PLL, highspeed interfaces and modulation techniques (PCIE, Pam4, NRZ). Familiarity with lab instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, temperature forcers/chambers, signal generators, BERT, AWG). Proficiency in Python. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with common analog circuit blocks (bias, bandgap, voltage regulators). Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Strong teamwork orientation and collaborative approach. Knowledge of communication protocols PCIE, I2C, USB, MDIO. Experiencing with excel and PowerPoint to organize large amounts of data.
