Senior Software Test Engineer – Industrial Automation
Our main activity is testing and developing the Siemens S7-1500 PLC system. The S7-1500 product family, being one of Siemens' most innovative developments. Testing from basic functions to system diagnostics, various industrial bus systems (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, AS-i), and even OPC UA, there are numerous interesting and challenging tasks that await our colleagues every day.
Take ownership of system‑level testing of Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLC engineering systems, including unreleased products Plan, execute, and evaluate manual and automated tests for complex industrial automation scenarios Independently design and optimize hardware and system test configurations Define, review, and continuously improve test strategies, test plans, and test cases Perform in‑depth defect analysis, ensure high‑quality documentation, and actively drive resolution Actively contribute to the development of PLC software, test frameworks, and test tools Support and improve test automation solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and testing best practices Share knowledge and mentor junior colleagues within the team
