The Audio System Tuning team is looking for an Siri Validation and Tuning Engineer to ensure the correct marriage between audio software and acoustic hardware in Apple products. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Siri DSP optimization in various iOS, MACOSX and Wireless Apple products.
DESCRIPTION
The candidate will be a member of the Acoustic Hardware Team, and will work day-to-day with the Audio Tuning Engineers, DSP algorithm & ML teams. This role will require attention to detail and excellent HW and SW debugging skills. You will be interacting with different teams at Apple regularly, and as such, you should have great communication and collaboration skills. You will tune, optimize, and listen to different internally developed algorithms for Apple HW with a focus on advanced techniques to deliver the best SIRI and Telephony experience across all Apple HW.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS/MS or equivalent, preferably specializing in Audio or Electrical Engineering Solid understanding of acoustics and signal processing fundamentals Experience executing and debugging scripts with Python and MATLAB Familiarity with acoustic measurement equipment such HeadAcqua Test System, Soundcheck, and Audio Analyzers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
