This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team as a Software Tester. Working alongside developers, designers, and product owners, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our Client’s highly-regarded software.
You will hold primary responsibility for QA within your product group, managing testing throughout the entire software development lifecycle—from defining requirements and test plans at the start to UAT and integration testing at the final stages.
Your tasks will include
- Partnering with developers and support teams to identify business requirements and plan project timelines
- Conducting a wide range of testing, including functional, stress, performance, and scalability testing across web and mobile platforms
- Writing and executing comprehensive test scripts, utilizing both manual and automated testing methods
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs while providing clear, objective feedback to the development teams
- Designing strategic tests to mitigate risks and troubleshooting complex issues as they arise
- Translating technical findings into clear reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all departmental and project deadlines are met
- Reviewing documentation and assessing code to ensure total quality assurance and adherence to internal standards
To be a good fit for the Software Tester (QA Engineer) role you will have
- 2+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (manual testing or a similar role)
- Previous experience with automation
- A keen eye for detail and a strong analytical approach to problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with the wider team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cypress or other JavaScript-based platforms
