Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 / year
Role & seniority: Mid-level Test Engineer (2–5 years in Test Engineering) within Microwave Products Group (MPG).
Stack/tools: Electrical test equipment (Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM, DAQs, power supplies); LabView or equivalent; PC proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project); automation and test setup development.
Support production test teams to create, validate, and troubleshoot test setups for all products; develop hardware/software test solutions with automation to reduce touch time.
Write and maintain Acceptance/Qualification Test Procedures, final reports, and other project deliverables; provide liaison among Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and external labs.
Analyze processes for ease of testing, cost reduction, and quality improvement; supervise/test technicians on measurement techniques and equipment operation; drive capital investments in test equipment.
B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
Fundamentals of electronics and RF theory; experience with RF components (switches, amplifiers, dividers/liners, VSWR, etc.).
Experience with electrical/environmental testing of electromechanical hardware; proficiency with test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM, DAQs) and LabView or similar.

Summary
Provide technical direction and support for test procedures, processes and equipment for new and existing products. This includes development of new test setups, automation, software and modernization of processes. Must be able to confer with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Test team and Quality to ensure product quality and success.
Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting production test teams in successfully creating, validating and troubleshooting test setups to conduct required testing on all products Creates comprehensive hardware & software solutions to test electromechanical products while incorporating automation capabilities and reducing technician touch time Provides technical assistance and liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and other departments and assists in implementing new techniques and procedures Exhibits ability to gather input from production personnel, and encourage a spirit of teamwork, through listening and implementation of process improvements on the production floor Analyzes and recommends process changes for ease of production test personnel, cost reduction and quality improvement Sets-up and maintains equipment for an operational Engineering development lab Assist in development of new circuit and PCB designs as needed Performs in-process testing on low quantity sales samples and Engineering models Writes Acceptance Test Procedures, Qualification test procedures and Final reports among other project deliverables Supports supervising or supporting tests performed by external laboratories Supervises test technicians as part of the engineering support role by providing them with the theoretical basis for measurement techniques, test equipment operation, test equipment calibration, circuit theory and trouble shooting Provides technicians with components and dedicated equipment to support their role in quality assurance testing and provide data analysis as needed Exercises project management skills to insure proper execution and timely completion of assigned projects Drives research and justifications for capital investments in test related equipment Support technical discussions, spec reviews and/or tollgates with both internal and external customers

Pay Range: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
