We're seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

Summary

NorthHighland is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong Playwright and C# expertise to support a critical proof-of-concept initiative for a leading national distributor. This resource will be responsible for evaluating the feasibility of automated testing on the Manhattan WMS This is a high-visibility, results-driven engagement where the consultant will work independently to deliver a definitive answer on test automation viability for the Manhattan platform.

You Will

Design and implement a Playwright-based test automation framework targeting the Manhattan WMS/TMS platform. Write automated test scripts using Playwright with C# to validate key workflows and business processes Assess the Manhattan platform’s compatibility with automated testing tools and document any technical limitations or constraints ?????? Develop a proof-of concept deliverable that demonstrates automated test coverage for critical TMS scenarios Provide a clear recommendation on the feasibility, scalability, and ROI of test automation for the Manhattan platform Collaborate with client engineering teams as needed, while maintaining the ability to work independently with minimal guidance Document test strategies, frameworks, and findings in a format suitable for executive and technical stakeholders Apply a QA mindset to identify edge cases, regression risks, and coverage gaps across the TMS implementation

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE

Strong proficiency in Playwright test automation framework, specifically the C# Solid development skills in C# with the ability to write clean, maintainable test code Demonstrated QA mindset with experience in test strategy, test case design, and defect analysis Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols, browser DevTools) Ability to work independently with little to no guidance, solving complex problems creatively Experience working with enterprise-grade supply chain, WMS, or ERP platforms (Manhattan experience a strong plus) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box Excellent written communication skills for documenting findings and recommendations
