Role & seniority: QA Engineer (qualified), mid-to-senior level for agile, distributed Java projects.
Stack/tools: Java, C++; test-driven development (BDD); automated testing design, execution, and maintenance; Selenium WebDriver (Page Object pattern, selectors, waits); minimal JavaScript for WebDriver; CI/CD tooling; Kafka (nice-to-have); Linux/Unix; .NET (context of project).
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test cases from acceptance criteria; drive quality across development and releases.
Collaborate with development teams to define tests, identify bugs, and coordinate remediation; act as a quality anchor in the software lifecycle.
Improve CI/CD tooling and services; contribute to platform architecture and product solution design; support continuous delivery.
Proficiency in Java and/or C++
Strong experience with automated testing, TDD/BDD approaches
Ability to own all aspects of automated testing: design, creation, execution, maintenance
Experience with Selenium WebDriver (Page Object, selectors, waits, timeouts)
Ability to analyze, design, and implement automated test cases from user stories
Collaboration with developers to ensure quality; issue identification and remediation coordination
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tooling

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and C++
A good knowledge of test driven development approaches such as BDD to support continuous delivery
Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts
Experience in Kafka will be beneficial
Analyse, design, and build automated test cases based on acceptance criteria captured in user stories
Collaborating with development teams to develop quality products; working closely together to understand the functionality and devise acceptance tests at an appropriate test level, prioritizing both speed and quality to support continuous delivery
Act as a lynchpin for product quality activities during development & releases such as
identifying bugs and coordinating remediation
Continuously improve the CI/CD toolchain and services in close collaboration with the agile programs and software engineers and the central architecture
Researching issues in software with remediation geared towards designing & developing test automation scripts
Contribution to the platform architecture and product solution design
Selenium WebDriver (Page Object pattern, selectors, waits, timeouts, FindElements, some minimal knowledge of JavaScript to use it together with WebDriver)
