Role & seniority: QA Engineer (qualified, mid-level expected)
Stack/tools: Java/Kotlin; Linux/Unix; Selenium WebDriver (Page Object pattern, JS basics); BDD/TDD; automated test design, scripts, and maintenance; CI/CD tooling; experience with distributed Java projects; Kafka beneficial; collaboration with Agile teams
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and scripts aligned to acceptance criteria from user stories
Collaborate with development teams to define acceptance tests, balancing speed and quality for continuous delivery
Act as quality lead during development and releases: identify bugs, coordinate remediation, and contribute to platform architecture and solution design; drive CI/CD improvements
Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
Strong knowledge of test-driven development approaches (BDD) and automated testing lifecycle
Ownership of automated testing design, development, execution, and maintenance
Experience with Selenium WebDriver (Page Object, selectors, waits, timeouts) and basic JavaScript for WebDriver tasks
Ability to analyze, design, and implement automated test cases from acceptance criteria
Experience collaborating with development teams to ensure quality in continuous delivery
Familiarity with CI/CD toolchains and quality processes in agile settings
Kafka experience
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and .NET components in the same project

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java /Kotlin
A good knowledge of test driven development approaches such as BDD to support continuous delivery
Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts
Experience in Kafka will be beneficial
Analyse, design, and build automated test cases based on acceptance criteria captured in user stories
Collaborating with development teams to develop quality products; working closely together to understand the functionality and devise acceptance tests at an appropriate test level, prioritizing both speed and quality to support continuous delivery
Act as a lynchpin for product quality activities during development & releases such as identifying bugs and coordinating remediation
Continuously improve the CI/CD toolchain and services in close collaboration with the agile programs and software engineers and the central architecture
Researching issues in software with remediation geared towards designing & developing test automation scripts
Contribution to the platform architecture and product solution design
Selenium WebDriver (Page Object pattern, selectors, waits, timeouts, FindElements, some minimal knowledge of JavaScript to use it together with WebDriver)
