Job Description The Design Verification Team Lead is responsible for leading the verification efforts of complex digital and mixed-signal designs, ensuring they meet all functional and performance requirements. This role involves managing a team of verification engineers, developing and reviewing verification plans, and collaborating closely with design and architecture teams. Key Responsibilities
Team Management: Manage, supervise, and mentor a team of verification engineers; distributing and monitoring day-to-day tasks as well as short and long term technical and career goals.
Verification Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive verification plans and strategies.
Execution: Oversee the execution of verification tasks, including functional and formal verification.
Communication: Provide interface to customers, reporting progress and metrics in weekly calls and ad-hoc face to face meetings.
Collaboration: Work closely with design and micro-architecture teams to understand functional and performance/parametric specifications.
Quality Assurance: Ensure thorough verification coverage and adherence to industry standards, as well as ensure the team follows expected company procedures, practices & flows.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve verification issues, providing technical guidance and support.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of verification processes, results, and methodologies.
Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the verification team. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Extensive experience in design verification, including team and/or project leadership roles.
Skills: Proficiency in verification languages (SystemVerilog, UVM), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities. Knowledge of mixed-signal ASIC architectures, real number modelling, constrained random, assertions, gate-level simulations, functional/code coverage, and formal verification techniques.
