Salary: $50 / hour
Role & seniority: Senior Software Engineer / QA Automation Specialist (part-time, project-based)
Stack/tools: Python (pytest, async/await, subprocess, file I/O); Full-Stack with React front-end + robust back-end; Docker; CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
Design and implement challenging coding test cases to probe AI coding systems; refine tasks based on production codebases
Write comprehensive end-to-end functional tests (beyond basic checks) and assess edge cases
Analyze AI failures, identify model gaps, and iterate tasks based on expert QA feedback across 7 quality criteria
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years in software development (primarily Python)
Full-Stack experience (React + backend systems)
Experience writing functional and integration tests
Docker proficiency (local evaluation in containers)
CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions)
English proficiency at least B2
Prior project-based or contract work
Experience with AI evaluation/QA tasks
Strong testing mindset and ability to reason across codebases and external sources
Location & work type: Remote/global, part-time, non-permanent project-based engagement; payment terms vary by project (rates up to $50/hour, with possible fixed rates or incentives)
