Salary: $17 / hour
Role & seniority: Experienced software engineer / test automation specialist; part-time, project-based role focused on AI evaluation/testing tasks.
Stack/tools: Python (pytest, async/await, subprocess, file I/O); Full-Stack with React; Docker containers; CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
Create challenging coding test cases and write comprehensive functional tests (end-to-end, including edge cases).
Review and refine tasks based on production codebases and realistic scope; ensure tasks are fair yet hard.
Analyze AI failures, identify where models struggle vs. excel, and iterate based on expert QA feedback across seven quality criteria.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years in software development
Strong Python experience (pytest, async/await, subprocess, file operations)
Full-Stack background with React front-end and robust back-end systems
Experience writing functional and integration tests
Docker experience (local evaluations in containers)
CI/CD knowledge (GitHub Actions)
English proficiency level: B2
Prior testing-focused roles beyond running tests
Experience with AI/ML evaluation tasks
Familiarity with additional testing tools or environments
