The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for
Understanding business requirements and participating in SDLC activities. Designing and executing test cases using techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), Equivalence Partitioning, and negative scenario testing. Performing Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing. Conducting cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). Validating UI/UX elements including alignment, responsiveness, and form validations. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through the complete bug lifecycle (Jira preferred). Performing basic API testing including request and response validation. Verifying HTTP status codes and REST API operations (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE). Using Browser Developer Tools (Inspect Element, Network tab) for troubleshooting. Validating application behavior related to cookies, sessions, and cache. Working independently to ensure quality deliverables within timelines.
The ideal candidate should possess
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Solid knowledge of test case design techniques (BVA, Equivalence Partitioning, negative scenarios). Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing. Hands-on experience in cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). Strong understanding of UI/UX validation principles. Experience in bug lifecycle management and defect reporting (Jira preferred). Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Working knowledge of Browser DevTools. Basic understanding of cookies, sessions, and cache concepts. Basic knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
