Cisco-Splunk Enterprise Security. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in performance testing, automation, and scripting, with hands-on experience in Python, Linux, JMeter, Golang, and JavaScript. This role will be critical in ensuring the robustness, scalability, and reliability of Splunk security solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts for Splunk

Enterprise Security.

Utilize JMeter and other performance testing tools to simulate realistic workloads
-
and measure system behavior under load.

Develop automation frameworks and test scripts using Python, Golang, and

JavaScript to support continuous testing and integration.

Perform Linux-based system monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning to optimize

test environments.

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to identify

performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to

stakeholders.

Support integration testing with Cisco security products and ensure seamless

interoperability with Splunk platforms.

Maintain and enhance test environments, including scripting for deployment and

configuration automation.

Participate in incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis related to performance issues.
Minimum Qualifications

Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and test development.

Strong experience with Linux operating systems, including shell scripting and

system performance monitoring.

Hands-on experience with JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools.

Knowledge of Golang for developing performance test utilities or automation.

Familiarity with JavaScript for scripting and automation within Splunk or related

environments.

Ability to analyze complex system behaviors and troubleshoot performance issues.

Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines.
