Role & seniority: Cellular System Test Engineer; mid-to-senior level, independent contributor
Stack/tools: 3GPP WWAN specs (LTE, 5G NR); end‑to‑end performance/functional analysis; lab and live-network data analysis; cross‑functional collaboration with modem systems/software/hardware/firmware; design reviews
Design, standardize, implement, validate, and execute complex test methodologies for cellular modem commercialization
Perform end-to-end performance/functional analysis of multi-RAT modems and optimize system performance from lab and live-network data
Characterize, certify, and collaborate with modem groups to meet quality metrics and customer requirements; contribute to design reviews
Deep knowledge of 3GPP WWAN specs (LTE, 5G NR)
Experience in end-to-end performance/functional analysis and data-driven optimization
Ability to design and implement test methodologies; strong cross-functional collaboration
Capable of contributing to design reviews and project meetings
Education/experience: Master’s in EE/CE/CS or Bachelor’s with ~5+ years related experience
Master’s degree preferred
Experience with modem hardware/firmware integration and certification processes
Familiarity with lab automation and optimization for cost/performance
