Role & seniority: Software Test Engineering intern/coop (undergrad or PhD student)
Stack/tools: Test planning and execution (manual & automated); Python, VBA, C++, Selenium; Linux/Windows environments; PC hardware/software configuration; databases and reporting; test types (functional, negative, regression, performance, reliability, usability); familiarity with GPUs/APU and gaming graphics is a plus
Develop and execute automated and manual Test Plans/Test Cases across multiple test strategies
Reproduce, troubleshoot, triage, report defects, and drive them to closure; collaborate with development teams
Create test plans/cases for new features, products (dGPU/APU), and operating systems; identify metrics to improve QA efficiency
Currently enrolled in a Canada-based university (bachelor’s) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Knowledge of software quality analysis processes and PC hardware/software troubleshooting
Programming/scripting: Python, VBA, C++, Selenium
Linux and/or Windows development/troubleshooting exposure
Interest in PC gaming/graphics tech and related APIs
Experience with test automation, performance, reliability, or usability testing
Debugging/troubleshooting across Linux/Windows; exposure to databases and reporting tools

Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time 37.5 hrs a week, either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
