Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance II for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks while ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, and performance testing.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance II Job Responsibilities Include

Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks across frontend UI, backend services, APIs, and mobile applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing to ensure high‑quality, scalable, and compliant software releases. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing, rapid feedback, and improved delivery efficiency. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support unit testing, drive TDD/BDD practices, and identify opportunities for quality improvements. Review requirements and user stories to derive detailed test cases, ensuring completeness, accuracy, scalability, and system reliability. Mentor QA team members and contribute to the adoption of modern testing tools, automation technologies, and best‑practice quality engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience in Software Quality Assurance across frontend, backend, API, and mobile applications. Strong expertise in automation frameworks, TDD/BDD practices, and modern testing tools (e.g., WebdriverIO, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, MochaJS, Postman). Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and validating applications deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $47.00 per hour
