About the Role Are you a Python developer who loves building secure, scalable integrations at the intersection of SaaS security and automation? Join BluOcean Cyber as a hands-on engineer, where you will design and build the connective tissue between security platforms, cloud environments, and AI-driven workflows. In this role, you will move beyond theory to code, developing the APIs, webhooks, and automation pipelines that help organizations detect, prioritize, and remediate security risks at scale.

What You’ll Do

Build Secure Integrations: Develop robust Python-based API integrations with critical security platforms, including SSPM, SIEM, SOAR, and GRC tools.

Develop Scalable APIs: Design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs and webhook integrations using modern frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.

Engineer Security Automation: Create automated remediation workflows and security orchestration logic to streamline incident response and hardening.

Implement Authentication: Design and implement secure authentication flows, including OAuth2, JWT, and API key management for internal and external integrations.

Build Data Pipelines: Develop scalable connectors and services to ingest, normalize, and process security telemetry data from diverse SaaS and cloud sources.

Integrate AI-Assisted Workflows: Build and integrate LLM-powered automation for intelligent issue triage, analysis, and prioritization, always keeping a human in the loop for key decisions.

What You’ll Bring (Required) 3+ years of professional experience in Cyber Security, specifically combining Product Security, Python API development, and SaaS Integration. Strong Python development experience is non-negotiable. Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. Solid understanding of API design principles, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. Experience integrating with third-party APIs and building secure, reliable connectors. Hands-on experience with Docker and Git-based CI/CD workflows. Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
