We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience across multiple layers of the technology stack and will play a key role in improving test automation coverage, driving quality initiatives, and mentoring QA team members.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks, primarily using Selenium with Java. Develop automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing using tools such as Karate, Rest Assured, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, and Cucumber. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to define test strategies, validate business requirements, and ensure high‑quality software delivery. Lead and mentor QA engineers, promoting best practices in automation, defect management, and test execution processes. Perform thorough root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate backend data, join tables, and support test scenarios. Contribute to defining and implementing the Test Pyramid (unit, service, UI tests). Participate actively in Scrum/Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure high-quality deliverables through CI/CD pipelines and quality gates. Share knowledge, coach junior team members, and foster a collaborative team environment. Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and proactive task management in all assigned responsibilities.
