Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in automation and testing who is ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable automation solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our software development lifecycle by building robust automation frameworks and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, desktop, and backend systems. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues. Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and tools. Continuously improve automation strategies and coverage to ensure high-quality software delivery. Monitor and report on automation metrics and test coverage.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in automation engineering or software testing. Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript). Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
