Salary: €4,500 - €5,500 / month
Role & seniority: Senior Test Automation Engineer (consultant) focused on hardware–software test automation for embedded and industrial products.
Stack/tools: Python, Robot Framework; automated hardware testing, measurement equipment, industrial interfaces; familiarity with HIL platforms, simulators, or communication protocols. Nice-to-have: C/C++/C# or firmware debugging; CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps); industrial standards and safety knowledge; signal processing or data analytics.
Design and implement automated integration and system-level tests combining hardware and software.
Develop testing workflows across hardware-in-the-loop environments and real hardware setups.
Consult, mentor, and communicate with clients and teams to improve software quality and testing practices.
Several years of Python experience and Robot Framework
Automated hardware testing experience, measurement equipment, and industrial interfaces
Familiarity with HIL platforms, simulators, or related protocols
Strong verbal/written English communication
Mentoring/consultative approach
C/C++/firmware debugging experience
Experience with CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps)
Knowledge of industrial safety standards
Background in signal processing or data analytics

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in the design and implementation of test automation involving hardware. As a consultant, you'll work at the intersection of hardware and software, developing automated integration and system-level tests for our clients' embedded and industrial products - one project at a time. Our clients support hybrid work, so presence at their office around Tampere and Pirkanmaa area is required (1-3 days per week).
We expect you to have several years of experience working with python & Robot Framework, experience with automated hardware testing, measurement equipment, and industrial interfaces, familiarity with HIL platforms, simulators, or communication protocols, mentoring and consultative approach, and great verbal and written communication skills in English.
