What are we looking for!
We are seeking a passionate Sr QA Engineer with strong experience in manual as well as automation testing to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a product-oriented mindset, a deep understanding of testing best practices, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable software products.
Responsibilities
Along with manual testing, Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality across releases. Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and integration testing. Identify, document, and track defects through the complete bug lifecycle. Ensure continuous integration of automated tests using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Develop reusable automation utilities and ensure adherence to coding standards. Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives to ensure QA deliverables align with product timelines. Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable insights to improve software reliability and performance. Drive a culture of quality through proactive involvement in design and code reviews.
Qualifications
Strong in Manual testing Minimum 2+ recent years in Manual + Automation testing Strong programming skills in Java with a solid understanding of OOP principles. Proven experience in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or other testing frameworks. Exposure to REST API automation using tools like Rest Assured or Postman. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Working knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, and version control best practices. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good understanding of Defect Management Tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. Experience in testing scalable, high-performance, product-based applications is highly preferred. Exposure to Cloud testing, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology. Candidates with product-based experience are strongly preferred.
